This edition contains two different albums. The first one, “Raccolta di Vedute...”, includes fifty-one engravings with views of Naples and larger area, in the mid-19th century. Most of the drawings were made by G.B. Costa, Tommasso Dessonlavy, Silvestro Bossi and Fransesco Santarelli, while the engraving was realized by Pietro Parboni. The second album, “Li monumenti...”, has fifty-nine engravings, which although numbered, are not placed in order. They represent monuments of Rome in the mid-19th century. Captions are in Italian and French.
