ENDERLIN, Jacob
Jacob Enderlin' s works include mostly plates inspired from the campaigns of the Holy League against the Ottomans (1684 -1690). He published “Die Grosse Welt-Beruffene in Thracien oder Romanien am Hellespont Ligende Haup-Stadt Bisanz, Neu Rom, Constantinopel, oder nach Turckischer Benennung Stampol” in 1685. His later works were based for the greatest part on the works of V. M. Coronelli, which he copied and enhanced with great skill. Enderlin published at least one work every year, down to 1693.
